Conduct Research
There are many opportunities at UML for paid research assistantships and聽fellowships聽for undergraduate and graduate students. Reach out to a faculty member in your department to ask about available research positions. Also check out聽Honors Fellowships.
Work on Campus
You don鈥檛 have to be a work study student to get a job on campus. Check for "Job Location & Development" or "Departmental Employment" positions. You can also apply to be a Resident Advisor and receive a housing and meal plan stipend.
Intern at a Company
You can complete internships outside of your classes. Many internships are paid experiences! Check聽Handshake for聽internship opportunities for students in all majors, in all years.
Be a Co-op Student
If you're in the Manning School of Business or the Francis College of Engineering, or a computer science major, you may apply for either a 3-month or 6-month co-op position in a professional workplace outside the university.
