Bachelor's-Master's Program in Education

The B.A. or B.S./M.Ed. Fast Track Program to Teaching is designed for high achieving University of Massachusetts Lowell undergraduates who seek to pursue a career in teaching. The program leads to a master of education degree in curriculum and instruction, including initial Massachusetts teacher licensure. The program may be completed in one or two years. Elementary and Early Childhood Education licensure courses are offered during the day at either 9 a.m. or 1 p.m. Middle/High School licensure courses are offered at 4 p.m.

Requirements
University of Massachusetts Lowell undergraduate students may apply to the program during the fall semester of their senior year. Successful applicants must have an undergraduate major in an arts or science academic content area and a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Satisfactory scores on the Graduate Record Exam are also required.
