O鈥橪eary Library is Moving: What to Expect This Summer聽
This summer, O鈥橪eary Library is undergoing a major transition to better serve our community. By the start of the Fall 2025 semester, all library operations and services will be consolidated to the third and fourth floors of the building. River Hawk Scholars Academy, among others, will be relocated to the other floors in O鈥橪eary.
You may notice an increase in noise as we move books and offices. All library services are available and spaces are open as normal. If you are looking for quieter space, Lydon Library is open as well. Use Ask A Librarian f you have any questions regarding the move.
Center for Lowell History Helps Reveal Life of Idenfitied World War Two Soldier
The Center for Lowell History (CLH) is often the first place people turn to for Lowell historical items and information. This is true for people around the world and major news sources! A few weeks ago CBS News did a story about Private Bernard Curran. Curran was a World War 2 solider who was missing in action until his remains were identified this year. He was finally laid to rest in Arlington Cemetery.
The Center for Lowell History collection helped the news share Curran's life with the world.
