Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unsung Hero Award
The Dr. MLK Jr Unsung Hero Award recognizes a student for their consistent contribution to social justice efforts, emulating the values of Dr. MLK Jr. and making a difference in one’s community, on and beyond campus.
Please Note:
- Submissions are open to all students- Undergraduate, graduate, and PhD. Students.
 - A max of 2 awards for each student level will be presented at the annual Dr. MLK Jr. celebration.
 - Recipients will also receive a 50 Riverhawk dollars.
 - Students must be in good academic standing and in good standing with the university.
 - Self-submissions are encouraged.
 - Proper grammar and spelling are considered in the quality of the submission.
 
Criteria:
- The student must be enrolled, at minimum, for the fall of 2024 and spring of 2025 semester.
 - The student must be in good academic standing and in good standing with the university.
 - Questions must be answered thoroughly, with corresponding examples as asked below.
