College Level Examination Program
Quick Links
Students who are interested in taking subject examinations of the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) should secure authorization forms from the Student Records Office that permit matriculating students of the University to arrange for administration of CLEP tests. Credit for general examinations of CLEP may not be granted to students after their admission to the University as matriculating students. Approved forms must be filed with the Student Records Office.
Application to take approved subject examinations of the College Level Examination Program may be made at current CLEP testing centers. Course credit through the subject examinations of CLEP will be granted only if an examination has been approved by an individual's faculty advisor and the chairperson of the department offers the course for which the CLEP test is a substitute and the if score attained by the individual is equal to or better than the minimum examination score specified in the table below.
The following is a list of CLEP tests for which credit may be granted.
