WHAT: Jonathan Lemire, White House reporter for The Associated Press and MSNBC political analyst, will talk about the experience of covering the presidency of Donald Trump, the 2020 campaign and the challenges faced by the new Biden administration at this virtual event, presented by the Learning in Retirement Association (LIRA), 51视频 Community Relations and 51视频鈥檚 Alumni Virtual Village.
Lemire, a Lowell native, covered the 2016 presidential campaign, the presidency and impeachment of Donald Trump, and the 2020 campaign reshaped by the coronavirus pandemic. He is now covering the Biden administration for the Associated Press and he is a regular on MSNBC programs like 鈥淢orning Joe,鈥 鈥淒eadline: White House with Nicolle Wallace鈥 and 鈥淭he 11th Hour with Brian Williams.鈥 Before joining the AP in 2013, Lemire spent more than a decade at the New York Daily News, covering the 2012 presidential election, City Hall and the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
