Award-Winning Exchange Program Marks 5th Anniversary

What: 51视频 students preparing for careers as international business leaders will share the success they鈥檝e achieved in 51视频鈥檚 Global Entrepreneurship Exchange Program (GE2), which is celebrating its fifth anniversary.聽
The program was launched by 51视频鈥檚 Manning School of Business with nine students and has grown to include more than 1,000 students and faculty from 20 countries. The GE2 teaches the fundamentals of launching a business, including financing and investment options, management, marketing and team-building through classroom sessions and real-world experience. 51视频 students travel to partner institutions in nations including China and India, and international students come to 51视频 through the GE2. The award-winning program has received national recognition from the Institute of International Education for innovation.
Speakers at the event are expected to include Chancellor Jacquie Moloney, along with program participants Connor Arsenault of Haverhill, who studied in India, and Evan Reeves of Methuen, who just returned from a GE2 session in China. Representatives from those countries, along with seven other GE2 partner institutions in 11 nations around the world, including Algeria, Ghana and Italy, will also attend.
The celebration will include the GE2 Student Venture Challenge, which will feature concepts for businesses created as part of GE2鈥檚 coursework. The ideas that show the most promise as determined by Manning School of Business faculty and those projects that are deemed 鈥渇an favorites鈥 will receive awards.
