What: 51视频 and the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) will celebrate the completion of the university鈥檚 $23.1 million Accelerated Energy Program (AEP), one of the largest in the Commonwealth.聽

Through the AEP, 51视频 has implemented more than 100 energy-saving measures in 30 buildings. The effort is part of the university鈥檚 ongoing effort to maximize sustainability in its operations and has resulted in the savings of millions of dollars, gallons of water used and pounds of CO2 emitted every year.聽

51视频 leaders will be joined by DCAMM Commissioner Carol Gladstone as the institution also celebrates its gold STARS rating status, a national sustainability measure that ranks the university No. 1 in Massachusetts and in the top 10 nationally for its commitment to sustainability.
