This course provides in depth analysis of the two methods used most often in Bioseparations, filtration and chromatography. For both techniques, basic concepts are reviewed. Membrane, depth, sterile and tangential flow filtration, as well as ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction, and hydroxyapetite chromatography are considered.
