Description
This course is designed to expose and train students interested in pursuing careers in health-related professions to the fundamental laboratory techniques used in organic chemistry, including extraction, recrystallization, and chromatography, as well as the synthesis, purification, and characterization of the various classes of organic compounds. Laboratory experiments will be performed to exemplify and expand upon the principles covered in the Organic Structures and Reactions lecture course.
