Intensive study of classification, morphology, physiology, genetics and ecology of medically important fungi and parasites. Emphasis on epidemiology, pathogenicity and diagnosis.
Prerequisites
MLSC.3110 Medical Bacteriology, or MLSC.5120 Medical Bacteriology, and MLSC.3130 Medical Bacteriology Lab, and Applied Biomedical Sciences (BS), or Clinical Laboratory Sciences (BS).
