A survey of environmental problems and issues. Topics include air, water, and noise pollution; solid and liquid waste disposal; and the social, political, and economic implications of these issues. Readings, discussions, guest speakers, and field trips.
This course is intended primarily for students majoring in the various options of environmental science. It does not satisfy specific science requirements for majors in the Division of Science.
